About

In 1947, Christian’s Pharmacy was opened by George Christian to service the pharmacy needs of Forest Park. It was the second pharmacy to open in the area and it featured a fabulous soda fountain dispenser. John Chafin began working as a Pharmacist for CP after he graduated from UGA’s Pharmacy School in 1975. He was simultaneously working at two other pharmacies. John dreamed of owning and running the pharmacy himself one day. He finally purchased the pharmacy from George Christian on April 1, 1984, and his hard work has developed the business into what you see today.
